When I was in High School, I was able to baptize several of my friends, and then my friends baptized their friends and family. I was in the 10th grade when I invited one of my friends to join me for Wednesday night Bible class at church. He came, and after several months, he obeyed the gospel.
Sometimes, all people wait for is an invitation.
Invite them to Bible classes, invite them to worship, invite them to sing, invite them to learn, invite them to the Lord, invite them into the Kingdom. Intive them to go to heaven.
As we approach this weekend, remember that your one job is to extend an invitation. It could be to anyone, but the goal is to bring them to VBS at NHCOC. Start with a simple invite and see what happens. Remember, someone’s soul might be saved if we all take this opportunity to invite.
Jesus has invited us all. Matthew 11:28-29, “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.”
