Summit Youth Rally 2025 “THE ROCK” is designed to help teenagers understand and apply the life-transforming teachings of Jesus from the Sermon on the Mount, centered around the idea of building their lives on the solid foundation of His words (Matthew 7:24-28). Each keynote and breakout session will focus on a key aspect of Jesus’ teachings, providing practical guidance for how young people can live out their faith in today’s world. Through interactive keynote lessons, breakout sessions, and personal reflection, teens will gain insights into building a resilient, Christ-centered life.
Keynote Speaker: Garrett Marshall
Garrett Marshall has been in full time ministry for 4 and a half years. Starting at the Westside church of Christ in Norman, OK, he served as their youth minister for 3 years before moving to the Del City church of Christ to serve as their preaching minister. He has been in that role for a year and a half.
Before full time ministry, Garrett was an attorney, specifically a public defender. When asked why he made the switch from lawyering to ministry, he often replies “I have mastered the laws of man, now it is time to master the laws of God.” Garrett’s special skills include beating you at Connect 4 in three moves, hitting two stones with one bird, and performing a flawless macarena.
Garrett has been married to Paige for 7 years. When asked what it is like to be married to Garrett, Paige often replies “These past 7 years have felt like 7 minutes……underwater.” Paige and Garrett have two sons, Finn who is 3 years old, and Lincoln, who is 1.”
